Ishay Ribo

Ishay Ribo was born and raised in France. At the age of 13 he began writing songs, composing and recording them in his home. He learned to play the guitar at 18. In 2014, he launched his debut album, “Tocho Ratzuf Ahava”, which was certified Gold for selling more than 25,000 copies in Israel. At the same time, the song “Kol Dodi” reached the number one spot for Israeli religious radio stations.
Ishay Ribo has collaborated on singles and performances with prominent Israeli artists, including Shlomo Artzi, Idan Raichel, and David D’or, as well as famous Jewish musicians Avraham Fried, Yaakov Shwekey, Mordechai Ben David, Yonatan Razel, among others.
Ishay Ribo participated in the three “Tzama” project albums, which showcase Chabad melodies. In 2016, he released his second album, “Pachad Gvahim”, which also achieved Gold album certification. At the same time, Ishay also worked on collaborations with composer Yossi Green, as well as a new single with Moti Steinmetz.

He managed to break down sectarian walls on his way to the top, in his own way, by mixing a unique combination of spiritual influences, catchy and inspirational Western melodies, and his one-of-a-kind, soft voice. Modi has played himself on HBO’s Crashing and Netflix’s When Jews Were Funny. He’s also appeared in several feature films and played leading roles in two: Waiting for Woody Allen, which won the LA Film Festival, and Stand Up, a feature-length film. In 2018, Mayor Bill De Blasio declared June 26th ‘Mordechi Modi Rosenfeld Day’ in the city of New York for his accomplishments and contributions to the artistic community.

Israeli born and now a NYC International mega singer who is worldwide recognized as a top Jewish performer and has released several solo albums.  Avi started singing at the young age of 8, and has performed with mega stars like Avihu Medina, Yehuda Poliker, Shlomi Shabbat and many more.  Avi has dedicated his life to his passion; as a singer , song writer and producer. In 2017 Avi recorder his solo album “Kmo Eish” followed by a 2020 mega album “Ahavat Hinam”. Avi’s talents encompasses as a Sephardic Cantor performing in synagogues worldwide.

Avi & his family will be joining us for the entirety of Passover were he will be the Cantor for the Sephardic Minyan & Preforming.

In additional to his Cantorial vocation, Yaakov is a Licensed Special Education Therapist, working with special needs children in Brooklyn, NY. He currently serves as Cantor of Lincoln Square Synagogue in New York, NY.

Yanky & Family will be joining us for the duration of Passover serving as the Cantor for our Ashkenaz Minyan.

Cantor Yaakov “Yanky” Lemmer

He began his singing career as the star soloist of the Young Israel of Bethel Choir, where world renowned Cantor Ben Zion Miller took him under his private tutelage. Yaakov earned a scholarship to the Belz School of Jewish Music at Yeshiva University, where he studied with Cantors Joseph Malovany and Bernard Beer. He also studied with cantorial legend Cantor Noach Schall, and has won a scholarship for vocal training in N.Y.C.
As an internationally renowned concert artist, Yaakov is in constant demand on the concert stage, as well as synagogues, thrilling audiences throughout the world. He has appeared at the Tel Aviv Culture Hall with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and has been featured throughout the United States, Canada, England, and at various European Culture Festivals. In addition, he has performed with Jazz/Klez legend Frank London and received rave reviews of his unique interpretations of traditional liturgical music. He has also officiated at some of the world’s most prominent pulpits throughout the world.
His repertoire spans many genres and languages, including traditional Hebrew liturgy, Yiddish folk, Opera, Broadway, Israeli, and more.

Bringing together diverse elements of Dance, Pop, and World Music with a keen ear for deep grooves and infectious melodies, Levyticus has not-so-quietly carved out a unique space for himself in the world of Electronic Music Production and Performance. From inspired originals to inventive remixes and stunning vocal-based collaborations, this is music meant to make you move on every level.

Currently working out of a studio in Brooklyn, Levyticus has been making big waves by pumping out a steady stream of anthemic tracks and amassing over 2,000,000 streams and downloads of his content on various digital platforms and in multiple commercial placements and collaborations over the last few years.
