Eager to introduce his epicurean mastery to the Maya Riviera, Chef Guillermo Correa is returning to his native Mexico to lead a team of specialized chefs and culinary professionals at the resort’s 16 distinct restaurants. He launched his career in the US with stints at both Hilton and Hyatt Hotels and quickly rose in the ranks. Recognizing his inherent talents, Stuart Morginstin invited him to join Danziger Kosher Catering, where he remains at the helm as Executive Chef. Since then, Chef Guillermo has amassed an impressive array of awards, including the Grand Prize of the National Pastry Competition and the Gold Medal for Plated Entrees. He also spent 20+ years with the Morginstin family creating elevated and innovative gourmet experiences at world-class Passover programs including the Arizona Biltmore.

Hailing from Israel is internationally acclaimed pastry chef Daniel Anor, renowned for his magnificent and delectable confections. Chef Daniel specializes in French confectionery, baking and chocolate, vegan and gluten-free pastry. He honed his craft working in Israel’s most prestigious hotels and furthered his studies at both the Ecole Lenôtre in Paris and l’École Valrhona Tain l’Hermitage. Chef Daniel is a beloved mentor to other chefs as an instructor at Bishulim, the authority on culinary arts in Israel; and serves as a consultant to bakeries and restaurants around the world.

Jonathan Morginstin

Originally from Chicago, Jonathan Morginstin has been intimately involved in both managing his family’s catering company and operating Pesach programs since he was a teenager. For the last 13 years, he has been working in the nightlife and hospitality industry in New York, Miami and Israel. He brings to Playa Del Carmen a rolodex of big names in Jewish entertainment to ensure a stellar lineup of performers unlike any other Passover program today. For Passover 2023, Jonathan has developed and planned a dazzling showcase of evening entertainment for a variety of tastes and ages. In addition to VIP Kosher’s headlining acts, the resort offers two additional show venues featuring full bars, food service and rotating experiences, from jazz bands and karaoke to salsa and acoustic performances.

Hersh Taubenfeld

Leveraging more than three decades of experience in Kosher restaurant management and hospitality, Hersh Taubenfeld is committed to upholding an uncompromising standard of service with VIP Kosher Tours. Over the years, his name has become synonymous with both top-tier management and superlative guest relations. In fact, his keen sensibility for clients’ needs and wants, along with his signature cool composure, have earned him a loyal following in the Passover industry. Prior to launching his own consulting business, Hersh co-ownedLasko Kosher Getaways. He operated the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, which was the largest Passover program in the world at the time; as well as Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura. An accountant by trade, Hersh also served as CFO of FreshPoint, a leading wholesale produce distribution company owned by Sysco; and he maintains several private and public-sector organizations as clients.

Brad Schechter

Renowned for his captivating voice and charismatic persona, Brad Schachter has been entertaining audiences since he was a young child. As an actor, he co-starred in the classic horror movie, Halloween III and was featured in several television commercials. He began his music career at age nine, singing and performing on stage and continued to amass a fan base throughout college. He then earned his Semicha in Israel before returning to the US, where he went on to release a number of popular Jewish music albums. As founder and head bandleader of Nefesh Music based in southern California, Brad performs extensively at events all over North America and Canada. He is also credited with creating the Name That Tune Live! show in Las Vegas and became the first kippah wearing performer to work continuously on the Strip. His harmonious blend of different styles of Jewish and American music has earned him acclaim among diverse crowds throughout the Jewish world.

Much of that is attributed to Stuart Morginstin, who learned all aspects of catering and high-end kosher restaurant operations in his native New York. When he and his wife, Caryn, took over the family business they set anew standard and became the exclusive kosher caterer for 27 hotels in Chicago for more than 30 years. Danziger expanded to South Florida 15 years ago and remains among the premier kosher hospitality businesses in the US. Stuart himself specializes in hotel partnerships and logistics, managing back-of-house operations seamlessly to deliver spectacular affairs and outstanding Passover programs year after year.
